There are a couple of phishing scams going on that you should be aware of. There are numerous actors out there who will attempt to sell you what they claim to be lists of conference attendees. These actors will take your money to provide information from past exhibitor and products and services guides as well as other open online sources such as websites to put together lists they claim to be attendees for the current year’s conference. Another scam involves actors who will contact you via email or phone phishing for information about your hotel reservations. They will claim to be working with NGAUS and attempt to make a reservation for you charging one night plus a fee up front. If you already have a hotel reservation, they will claim to have overbooked or some other problem to get your confirmation number. They will then cancel that reservation and try to sell you a reservation charging one night’s lodging and a fee up front.

NGAUS does not solicit exhibitors and attendees via phone and email to make hotel reservations. Never provide your hotel confirmation number to a third party. Please do not engage with anyone to reserve hotel rooms other than LamontCo, the official hotel reservation management company for NGAUS, and only reserve using the official hotel reservation link which is also posted on the NGAUS event website.
